Normally, the Truckee Meadows chapter of the Hotline only posts on the Buffet when fulfilling duties as author of "#3 on paper but #1 in your hearts," that chapter's musings on NCAA Division III Athletics, but the Terps' big win today seemed like something that should get some ink at the Buffet, especially with editor and head writer of the Buffet staff currently cheering on his beloved Hook 'em Babies in Austin.Please keep an eye out for 2009's first official entry of "#3 on paper but #1 in your hearts," which of course this year will focus on women's basketball, since the York (PA) College women's hoopsters, led by a stellar class of six seniors, beat beat Marymount (VA) today 70-57 to close out a perfect 16-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference. The Spartants are 24-1 (and riding a 24-game win streak) and ranked #9 at D3hoops.com.
