Harrick Standings Update

The Harrick Committee is back from our quick tour of the Riverwalk, where we stood in the very long beer line at Rita's with Jay Bilas, who has graciously offered to serve as the official analyst of the Harrick next year. No Jim Harrick sightings, unfortunately. But then we didn't hit any strip clubs or auto parts stores in the Alamo city.

This year's Harrick is going to the wire. Giaquinto has retaken the lead and has the best player left in Derrick Rose. He also has KU's little bowling ball, Sherron Collins. The Buffet is just four points back with Mario Chalmers, who just might have another huge game left. Meanwhile, Lang seems to have nailed down third place with Brandon Rush still playing. Avillo and Illfelder are battling for the money-back fourth place, with Avillo needing 14 points out of CDR to secure money. (Avillo would be sitting pretty if I hadn't misread his sheet and picked Mata-Sucko from UCLA, who put up exactly nothing in three games). Strange is also in the mix, but only if Chaka Khan goes off. Which has never happened.

Here are your totals. Don't forget to send in your money, if you haven't done so already.
